My Xbox360’s warranty expired around last week. Seeing as I’m no longer covered, I was looking to make some sort of modification to ensure I do not get a fatal malfunction, such as Red Ring of Death (RROD). After looking at adding water cooling systems and determining they’re a little too expensive, i was looking at putting it in a PC case with better fans. I’d just like to check to see if the parts I have in mind will work. Keep in mind I’m on a very low budget, so please do not suggest that I buy expensive parts. I’m willing to go with the cheapy parts as long as they will work. Aesthetics aren’t a huge issue in my opinion.
I was looking at this case: [url is not allowed]
Its got 3 good fans to prevent overheating. It doesn’t include a power supply, but I figure I can buy one if necessary or just run it off of the 360s. If this won’t work, please mention.
I know I will need an extension cable to hook up the HDD, will this one work ok?

What cable will I need to hook up the disc drive?
Also, what kind of cables will I need to hook up the USB ports, video, and Internet connectors? What will I need to extend the power button/ring of light to the front of the PC case?
Please be as specific as possible so I know what parts I will need to buy and what to do with them once I get them.
It’d also be great if all the parts could be on Newegg.com so I don’t have to place multiple orders. Thanks in advance for your help!
